Khal began his career at the age of 17 working and training with world renowned stylists in the Middle East before moving to Canada. Khalâ€™s focus talents are in precision cuts and textured hair. Khal is a craftsman at creating clean lines. His talent has brought him around the globe traveling to Berlin, Paris, New York and Across Canada attending Seminars & conventions. Khal is a active member of the Ontario college of trade and is a member of the Master Judge Program, participating in judging competitors from across the Country.

Roberta Fraser known as Robbie has been in the hair and beauty industry since 1996 and has
been a member of the team at Ottawa Academy since 2004. Robbie has excelled in performance and Education experience in the Color Technical Field.
Robbie has worked in some of the finest hair salons in Ottawa before joining our team and bringing her knowledge and experience to the future generation of Hairstylistâ€™s.
Robbie takes great pleasure in teaching the students the concepts of Hair Coloring; she continues to educate herself and learn the latest trends and techiques through various education. Robbie also, plans student activities and events such as (The National Womenâ€™s Show, Project Self Esteem and Blush Teen to name a few)
Robbie considers herself to be the studentâ€™s biggest cheerleader and strong supporter of their education. Robbie says all her students are â€œSUPERSTARSâ€
Terry Ralph graduate of the Vidal Sassoon Academy has been in the Hairstyling Industry for over 30 years.
Terry has worked in some of the finest Salon/Spa in the Ottawa Area. Terry joined the Academy in 1998 and has taught many Hairstylistsâ€™ in the Ottawa Region. Terryâ€™s knowledge extends beyond teaching haircutting/coloring. His knowledge in the classroom teaching environment includes the International Program, Nuts and Bolts of how to manage the classroom to make learning fun and interesting and to understand the need of students.
Terry is a member in good standing of the Ontario College of Trades.

Tony is a Professional Hairstylist specializing in Men Hair cutting and design. Tony has been a member of the Ottawa Academy since 2003.
Tony is well know in the Ottawa Hairstyling community, he is always there to lend a helping hand our students and any member of our team.
As our Purchasing Manager Tony is responsible in ensuring that the Academy is well equipped with quality supplies in order for our Students to be Successful in their chosen careers.
Joylyn has been in the hairstyling industry since 1995, with many years of working experience. As a designer and a salon manager Joylyn brings with her the knowledge needed to her position as a Hairstyling Instructor.
Joylyn joined the Academy in 1999, and specializes in Super Curly Hair and Barbering along with all aspects of the Hairstyling, Salon Management and Customer Service.
Joylyn enjoys the challenge of training new stylists to ensure they move on and become amazing Professionals.

Lise has been in the hairstyling industry for over 25 years also as an instructor. Lise has been a member of the Academy for over 15 years. Passionate about hair, beauty and fashion Lise enjoys sharing her knowledge and love for the industry alongside new aspiring artist.

Professional hair stylist with years of experience in the beauty industry. After 10 years of owing her own Salon Spa. Corinne was appointed as District manage for international Salon chain, in charge of training and supervising large staffs of over 65 hairstylist in the Ontario region. Corrine joined our team at the Ottawa Academy due to her love and believe in continued education in latest styles and new trends. Corrine is passionate about the hair industry. Loves to train and mentor the new generation of stylist.

With years of experience in the cosmetic industry, Marie-Line Lalonde-Charlebois is a Medical Esthetician with experience in the esthetic field for more than 30 years. She has been an educator of the esthetic program in both french and english for 12 years. Mrs. Lalonde-Charlebois has attended University of Sherbrooke, Qc for the Professional Education Bachelor BEP.
Her knowledge and reputation has long been made in the Ottawa/Gatineau region. Mrs. Marie-Line Lalonde-Charlebois has great knowledge and passion for the beauty industry .

Mrs. Mira Dayfallah has been in the Esthetic Industry for fifteen years. She has been teaching for the last ten years. Mrs. Mira is a Medical Esthetician with many years of experience in the skin care world. She has been certified for multiple apparatus of lasers and IPL. Mrs. Mira embraces the beauty industry with dedication and passion.
Debbie has been in the Beauty Industry for over 20 years as an Esthetician/Electrolysis and Makeup Artistry. Debbie operated her own Salon/Spa in the Ottawa Area prior to joining the Ottawa Academy as an Esthetic Instructor in 2001 to become one of our lead Estheticâ€™s Instructor her commitment and dedication to the Industry was very evident in the success of her Students
After several years teaching Debbie was promoted to Admission Director since 2010, Debbie has worked with many students to guide them through their future career in Hairstyling and Esthetics Department. Debbie continues in her role to promote student satisfaction and student success as her top priority.
